In 2015 Raab Associates was hired by the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy at Penn and Drexel’s Institute for Energy and Environment and Academy of Natural Sciences to assist in developing a broadly shared vision of energy for Philadelphia and the Commonwealth that would be prosperous, equitable, healthy, safe, environmentally sensitive, and secure. The assignment included a detailed interview-based assessment followed by the design and mediation of a high-level stakeholder group. The stakeholder group included over twenty representatives from leading energy-related businesses, environmental NGOs, labor and consumer groups, academia, and government. The group met for four day-long brainstorming and negotiation sessions, with assignments and sub-groups meeting between the formal meetings.
