New England Overview: A Guide to Large-Scale Energy Infrastructure Issues in 2015 Boston Green Ribbon Commission
Raab Associates, Ltd. and Synapse Energy Economics prepared a primer on large-scale energy infrastructure issues in 2015 in New England. The primer examines the current electricity and gas infrastructures in the region, discusses some of the key issues and challenges, and provides an overview of some of the current transmission and gas pipeline proposals. The report was one of four released by the Boston Green Ribbon Commission to provide fundamental information about how the energy supply system works in New England, while highlighting strategies for institutional renewable energy procurement and public sector innovation to reduce greenhouse gases.
