Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources Gas Demand Analysis Stakeholder Process
Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources
In 2014, Raab Associates worked with Synapse Energy Economics to solicit stakeholder input and feedback in a modeling analysis Synapse conducted for Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources on low gas demand in the Commonwealth. The purpose of the study was to consider various gas demand scenarios and to evaluate a range of solutions to meet Massachusetts’ short and long-term resource needs, taking into account greenhouse gas reductions, economic costs and benefits, and system reliability. Raab Associates took the lead on the stakeholder engagement component of the modeling analysis, designing and running a process for stakeholder participation at several key junctures over the course of the study. For more information, please view the project page on the Synapse website.
